Supporting Rural Talent: Tifosi Sports Partners with the Queen Mo Foundation

The iconic former leader of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, was himself an athlete. In fact, the much beloved Madiba once said that “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand.”

We echo the words of our late president. Sport has long played a unifying role in South Africa – bringing together people of different races, religions, and backgrounds to celebrate national pride and personal achievement.

Tifosi Sports and On Performance Shoes recognise the positive impact that sport can have, especially in remote and rural communities. That’s why we are proud to support the Queen Mo Foundation with a donation of 10 pairs of On shoes.

Empowering Mpumalanga's Next Generation

The Foundation is led by three passionate women, spearheaded by Morongwa Dlamini in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. This area is home to underserved communities with a strong need for youth development and healthy living initiatives – from schoolchildren to senior citizens.

The Queen Mo Foundation supports talented athletes by helping them access the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. From running shoes and race entry fees to coaching and academic bursaries, the foundation sources funding for a wide range of needs across the rural communities of Mbombela.

Tifosi and On Performance Shoes are proud to walk – and run – alongside these inspiring young athletes as they pursue their goals.
