Several of the shoe's characteristics incorporate the latest in running technology, such as a cushioned tongue for a more comfortable step in, and an improved outsole that aims to prevent stones from getting stuck while running. The tongue loop in the upper of the shoe helps to keep laces in place. The new Cloudrunner 2 also features a modified rubber compound with enhanced traction pattern for those wet morning runs.
