Since 2017, a number of Tifosi Sports Ambassadors have taken part in the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon.

This event offers a breathtaking course that showcases the best of what Cape Town has to offer. Starting on Beach Road, road runners are immediately greeted with stunning ocean views — setting the tone for an unforgettable race.

As the route winds through the city, participants are treated to Cape Town’s iconic mountains: Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill. These provide a majestic backdrop, inspiring runners to power through fatigue.

Along the way, runners pass iconic landmarks such as the V&A Waterfront — with its buzzing restaurants and shops — energising both athletes and spectators. The course also meanders through the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, where the cheers from the community echo through the colourful streets.

The race concludes with a triumphant finish at Cape Town Stadium — a world-class venue that has hosted international sporting events and provides the perfect finish line.

This year, Tifosi Sports athletes took on both the road races and scenic trails. It was a year of milestones, with many personal bests and inspiring performances across the board.
